Preparations for the Potlotek Design Build have been underway for months, beginning with the community engagement process and continuing with selecting a site and developing design ideas. CEU staff have worked hard to brainstorm ideas for what the Potlotek High School and the outdoor education storage building could involve. The top photo shows a topographical model of the site that was made using the Faculty of Architecture and Planning's laser cutter. Visual representations of a site's natural and built environment are essential to developing an effective plan for a project. Also shown are photos of some rough models and concept drawings; these demonstrate how many options were considered.
