Day Four - Clearing the Site, Surveying, and Drilling! (and of course, design)

Today began with some of our highschool students clearing the site.

We continued our survey and finalized the design at eight 10'x10' bays extending into the landscape.

Some students painted the barn and we all started clearing gravel from the old shed footprint.

We did a framing model for the deck portion of our storage structure so we could start building and share the information with the community. We placed an order for all the lumber and concrete, which will arrive the next morning.

Our auger arrived in the evening, and we drilled holes for our footings until we couldn't drill any more!
